Worked on the Security & Privacy team in Social Advertising. Our team makes sure that advertising accounts stay secure and make sure customer privacy is kept. While on this team I was promoted to a Software Engineer 2.
Designed, implemented, and launched a system called Gavel to scan 400,000 ads daily to make sure that ads are following Amazon's Social Media Policy using AWS Step Functions, Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Cloud Watch, and CDK. Mainly using Java with a little bit of typescript.
Implemented, migrated, and launched a system that allows internal marketers to target Amazon customers on Facebook and Snapchat in a secure and privacy minded way. Used AWS Step Functions, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Cloud Watch, Glue, and CDK. Mainly using Java with some python and typescript.

Worked on the DEX (Delivery Experience) Speed Team as part of Last Mile. We help packages get to customers in the best and fastest ways possible.
Changed shipping option logic in Canada to save Amazon money per purchase in select regions. I met with stakeholders, created multiple designs, implemented the best design in Java, created unit tests, and tested my implementation.
I helped with upgrading two day delivery to same day delivery and sub-same day delivery in supported regions in the US by implementing Java code and changing ZIP code configurations.

Worked on Lucidchart, an online flowchart tool, and Lucidspark, a virtual whiteboard for up to 100 collaborators.
Worked on the Data Integrations team, focusing on how to integrate other software into Lucidchart. I used Angular, Scala, and AWS.
Worked on various elements of Lucidspark which was key to getting Lucid a $3 billion valuation.

Front-end and backend development for the electronic batch record module using Angular, Java, SQL, Spring, and Hibernate in a Scrum environment.
Created a real-time display for floor workers of a manufacturing plant using WebSocket.
